Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using SummAI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

These terms apply to all users of SummAI, including free and Premium subscribers.

License to Use

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SummAI for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any part of it
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use the App for any unlawful or unauthorized purpose
• Rent, lease, or sublicense the App to any third party

Premium Subscriptions

SummAI offers an optional Premium subscription that unlocks unlimited summaries and additional features. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID and managed by Apple.

• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Billing: Your Apple ID account will be charged upon purchase confirmation and on each renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel anytime via Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone.
• Refunds: All refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no ability to issue refunds directly.
• Free trial: If a free trial is offered, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid any charge.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Apple will notify you of any price changes before your next renewal.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use SummAI only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the content you choose to summarize. You must not use the App to process content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, harmful code, or exploits
• Is used to harm, harass, or deceive any person

Intellectual Property

SummAI, including its name, logo, design, code, and AI-generated output interface, is the intellectual property of SummAI. All rights are reserved.

The AI-generated summaries produced by the App are derived from content you provide. You retain ownership of your original content. You may use generated summaries for personal, non-commercial use.

Disclaimer of Warranties

SummAI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI-generated summaries will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SummAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SummAI, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claims arising out of or relating to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of SummAI after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you via an in-app notice.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.
